How to Refinish Wood Floors; Step By Step

Next, inspect the floor for any damages, such as deep scratches, dents, or water stains. 2) Cleaning the Floor. Before sanding, the floor must be cleaned meticulously to remove dust, dirt, and debris. This ensures that no particles interfere with the sanding process. Sweeping and vacuuming are essential, and in some cases, a damp mop can be used, but it’s crucial to ensure the floor is completely dry before proceeding.
