1) Bottle of 3%hydrogen peroxide
2) Rubber cleaning gloves
3) Spray bottle
4) Lint-free microfiber cleaning cloths
Fill the spray bottle with hydrogen peroxide and mist the floors moderately but do not over saturate. Wipe away of the excess liquid using a microfiber cleaning cloth after it has sat five minutes or so. On the stubborn stains, you may have to use elbow grease to effectively remove them.
Caution: Vinegar is an effective, all-natural cleaning solution that many people love to use on hardwood floors as an alternative to hydrogen peroxide. Never mix these two agents together because it will create a highly corrosive peracetic acid that will leave your floors in ruin.
